Debra Pascali-Bonaro

Debra Pascali-Bonaro is a world-renowned inspirational speaker, podcaster, filmmaker, doula trainer, childbirth educator, and author. Debra’s podcast, Orgasmic Birth, heals barriers and opens the door to share secrets to more love and intimacy in birth and parenting. Debra is a mother, grandmother, and featured expert in parenting journals and media around the world.     Sokhna is an artist, herbalist, yogini & mother of 2 emerging adults, is an IBCLC & experienced, Full Spectrum Doula of 2 decades. Sokhna has devoted her life to serving families privately through her healing arts umbrella MamaSutra Loving Arts, publicly as a home visitor with Healthy Babies Healthy Start, & as a co-founder of the hospital doula initiative WMed Doula Program, serving women engaged with substance use, in prison and often unhoused. Sokhna is currently pivoting from serving mothers to serving Mother Earth, as she builds her herbal farm and perinatal educational center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She finds pleasure & inspiration in art, nature, travel & keeping honeybees.

Scholarships

In childbirth, systemic racism is the root cause of disparities leading to higher maternal mortality rates for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

We believe doulas help to create a more equitable, respectful, maternity care system.

We want to support and amplify BIPOC voices and support every person to have a safe, satisfying, and pleasurable birth and ensuring there is a doula for every person who wants one is an essential step.

We are offering a number of BIPOC Scholarships to promised doulas at 25% rate.

If you are an individual who identifies as a BIPOC and has a financial barrier to taking our course, we welcome you to apply for our scholarship.

Refund Policy

If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, the following cancellation policy will apply:

A deposit of $300 is nonrefundable, remaining paid balance is refundable in full until 3 Months prior to start.

After Three Months, a 50% refund will be given

No refunds after two month, however, spaces are transferable so you may sell or gift your space.
